Learn about a no cost,
new investigational drug on knee pain
related to osteoarthritis

Are you Eligible?

According to the Arthritis Foundation, more than 27 million people in the U.S. have osteoarthritis, with the knee being the most commonly affected area. If you have pain and stiffness in your joints, you may have osteoarthritis.

If you’re struggling with osteoarthritis of the knee, you may qualify for a new research study, now being offered at select centers throughout the United States. The research aims to study an investigational treatment to relieve knee pain associated with osteoarthritis. It involves a single injection directly in the knee joint. If you are eligible and choose to participate, you will receive all study-related care, such as ECG and knee X-rays, at no cost.

About the Study

Osteoarthritis (OA) of the knees is more common than any other joint. OA in the knees can result in pain in and around the joint, stiffness of the joint after rest, and limited joint motion due to pain and/or stiffness of the joint. The end result of all forms of OA is often loss of function of the joint or limb, imposing significant economic burden on individuals and society.

In this clinical trial, a new investigational treatment is evaluated for its potential to relieve knee pain due to osteoarthritis. The clinical trial will take approximately 30 weeks for you to complete and involves you receiving one single injection directly into your knee joint. The clinical trial involves trial-related medical examinations, including ECG, X-rays, as well as blood and urine tests.

There will be no cost associated with participation in the trial. You will receive compensation for transportation required to participate in the trial.
